Well, it's only been 2.5 years since our last blog post, so we will first give you an update on everything that's happened between the date of that post and yesterday...

Next, we will give you an update on what has happened in the past 24 hours. We are transitioning Profilactic.com to a new URL that focuses only on our Clippings feature.

If you're not familiar with Clippings, you can stop reading. You're dead to us. For the rest of you, you'll know that Clippings is a simple way to keep track of the things that other people are sharing about you. For example, if you had spoken at a conference and someone got a photo of you looking all insightful, you would want to clip that since there aren't many photos of you looking insightful.

Despite not having updated Profilactic.com in a while, we still have some die-hard Clippings users that we don't want to abandon. Plus, if we change the name of the site to something that you won't be embarrassed to say in public, it could help with word of mouth.

So we are going to be retiring the Profilactic.com URL... we're going to pause a moment so you can get all of those tears out... and relaunching our Clippings feature under mywebclippings.com. Any Clippings you have saved on Profilactic will be carried over to the new site.
