Got lots of stuff cooking up at the Profilactic lair -- improvements to the speed of mashups, search, likeness ratings, improvements to our site setup options and a couple of other surprises.

I'm QAing some these things right now and they are very cool.

We are shooting to deploy the changes on April 1st. We will also (probably) remove the "beta" label and declare it "1.0." Stay tuned.

Richard MacManus over at ReadWriteWeb has a post (and a poll) about RSS remixing services where he mentions Profilactic along with more mainstream services like Yahoo! Pipes (who are remixing) and Feedburner (who aren't remixing).

I hadn't really thought of us as an RSS remix service (I was too busy focusing on "digital lifestyle aggregation" which I hate saying), but I guess it makes sense. Richard sees this segment as something that is about to take off. I hope he's right.
