Profilactic adds support for QIK (#115)
Just wanted to let everyone know that Profilactic has added support for mobile video site QIK.

In the next few days, your Profilactic mashup will begin automatically embedding your QIK videos (instead of just linking to them).

This brings the total number of sites that Profilactic supports to 115. Of course, you can still add unlimited custom sites.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Profilactic has added support for user-generated porn-ish Twitter clone boobik?. The site is definitely NSFW since users can (and do) embed images in their posts. What kind of images, you might ask? Well, you'll have to find out for yourself.

Profilactic participating in Social Media Club
The Profilactic team attended the first meeting of the Louisville Chapter of the Social Media Club on Tuesday night. We had a really nice turnout with around 35 people attending. Jason Falls, co-founder of the Louisville chapter, has a nice recap of the event.

Companies represented included Profilactic, CNET, MetroMojo, Yum! Brands, Creative Alliance, Doe Anderson, Now Sourcing and DBS Interactive.

We shot an interview with WebProNews who sent a camera crew to the event. I'll post a link to that once it's live.

We will be meeting monthly; so if you're in Lousville and you're interested in social media, be sure to check it out.

Profilactic interview with Jason Falls
I slipped out of the Profilactic lair this weekend and made the 1-mile journey over to Jason Falls' house. Jason writes SocialMediaExplorer.com, works on DailyIdea.tv and co-founded the Louisville Chapter of the Social Media Club.

He wanted to talk about Profilactic. He thinks it will be bigger that both Twitter *and* Facebook in 2008 (He didn't actually say that; however, I could see it in his eyes).

I think the interview went pretty well. I was obviously a bit off at the beginning (if you went by word count, you would think the interview was about "um" and not Profilactic); however, I think I pulled it together by the end.

Thanks to Jason for helping us get the word out about Profilactic.
